This old, stone bridge stands in Oak Park, Wichita, Kansas. Built in the WPA Project days of the ’30s, it remains as an example of the fine public projects brought about by the Great Depression.
This pen and ink sketch was originally done as a Christmas card illustration and has been converted to an original etching using the Solarplate method. Watercolor tints were added by hand following the printing process.
