Description
This notecard, Lower Fox Creek School, is a reproduction of an original photo-polymer relief print of the same title. The illustration depicts the Lower Fox Creek School, located just north of the Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve on Highway K-177, 7 miles north of Strong City, Chase County, Kansas. The one-room schoolhouse was built in 1882 and held classes from 1884 to 1930. In it’s early years it served an average of 19 students a year from the surrounding ranches.
The card, which is blank inside, is a framable 5″ x 7″ and comes in a clear acetate protective sleeve with matching envelope. The card stock is 80 lb. smooth cover in warm white.
